On the evening of March 6, officers of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation searched the house of 37-year-old Crimean Tatar Edem Murtazaiev in Sudak.
He was detained and taken to Simferopol, where he stayed for several hours. According to Refat Chubarov, Edem Murtazaiev has been charged under Part 1 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code of Russia Promoting subversive activities (introduced by Federal Law No. 586-FZ of December 29, 2022).
At the same time, Edem Murtazaiev is suspected of undermining and damaging part of the railway 12 kilometers from the Simferopol station near the village of Poshtove, Bakhchisaray district.
