In temporarily occupied Crimea, a 47-year-old resident of Akyar (Sevastopol), a native of Zhytomyr region, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined 50 thousand rubles (about 15 thousand hryvnias). This was reported by the press service of the so-called Supreme “court” of Crimea in the Russian social network “VKontakte”, banned in Ukraine.

According to the version of the occupiers, the man allegedly installed a camera on the balcony and transmitted the footage of the building of the “Interior Ministry” in Akmeszhit (Simferopol) to the security service of Ukraine.

“The man received an assignment from his handlers, according to which he installed on the balcony of an adjacent residential building CCTV cameras aimed at the building of one of the law enforcement agencies. He subsequently gave the SSU access to the camera, which recorded the location of units, movements and gatherings of employees, as well as their official and personal vehicles”, – stated in the message.

He will spend the first three years of his sentence in prison, after which he will serve the rest of the term in a strict regime colony.
