In occupied Crimea, a local resident has been brought before a “court” on charges of “treason”

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian occupation authorities have forwarded a criminal case to the Supreme “Court” of Crimea against a resident of the peninsula who is accused of “treason” . This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of Crimea.

According to the FSB of the Russian Federation, the man allegedly collaborated with the Security Service of Ukraine and collected information about one of the defense facilities near Yalta.

“The accused, being an opponent of the ‘special military operation’, entered into correspondence on one of the social networks with a representative of the SBU. He received an assignment from his supervisor to gather information about the location of weapons, equipment, and defense facilities. While in one of the villages in the Yalta urban district, he gathered information about a defense facility and passed it on to a representative of Ukraine to be used against Russia’s interests,” the statement said.
