In early May, a 25-year-old girl tore off the Russian flag in a cafe in the occupied Melitopol.
The director of this cafe reported the incident to the police. According to the occupiers, they had a conversation with the girl and forced her to repent of her deed on camera.
A criminal case may be initiated against the girl under Article 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for desecration of the state symbols of the Russian Federation. Sanctions of the article provide for up to a year in prison.
