A few days ago, Crimean Tatar Nariman Abliazov was detained in Henichesk, Kherson region, for allegedly active participation in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion.
As the invaders began to report today, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kherson region initiated a criminal case against a resident of Henichesk under part 2 of Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It was established that from 2014 to 2015 the suspect voluntarily joined and participated in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion.
Nariman Abliazov is 50 years old and has three children. In fact, he was an entrepreneur, was engaged in the hotel business and had nothing to do with the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion.
We remind you that at the beginning of the occupation of Henichesk, the occupants detained the wife of Nariman Abliazov and kept her for some time in the basement of the 17th school. Later, the woman was released, but the invaders did not leave the family alone.
It is known that the man is in custody, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
Since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has recorded 32 detentions on charges of participation in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion: 13 in the occupied Crimea, 19 in the occupied Kherson region after February 24, 2022.
