Serviceman Denis Narolsky was found guilty under the article on desertion committed in the context of an armed conflict or combat operations” (part 3 of article 338 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was arrested in January 2023. Prior to that, he arbitrarily left the military unit and began to live on the territory of Crimea.
“At the hearing, the defendant pleaded guilty to committing a crime and motivated his actions by the fact that he did not want to participate in a special military operation and do military service”,- the press service of the court writes.
It is reported that the case was considered by judge Pavel Kotov.
