In the ancient settlement in Chersonesos, strong winds damaged a number of historical monuments.
In particular, the storm hit the 1935 basilica in the western part of the museum-reserve; the foundations of some historical monuments were exposed, and cracks in the walls and soil increased. The staircase from the basilica to the large bell is partially destroyed.
