Despite the fact that martial law has not been introduced in Russia and war has not been officially declared, on September 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the so-called partial mobilization, which is organized in violation of international humanitarian law, including in the occupied Crimea.
Since September 21, 2022, more than 60 thousand summons have been issued in Crimea, and about 23 thousand people have been mobilized.
In fact, mobilization into the Russian army is certain death. Proof of this is the number of soldiers killed (more than 320,000 people according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), the number of destroyed military equipment (more than 45,000 units).
