The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre sincerely congratulates all Ukrainians on the most important holiday of our state – Independence Day.
The fate of our country and its people has had an incredible number of trials. And unfortunately, today, we are forced to celebrate Independence Day in the conditions of a full-scale war, which was started by Russia on 24 February 2022.
More than 2 years of full-scale war have already passed, 10 years of illegal occupation of the Ukrainian territories of the Russian Federation – Crimea and Donbass – have already been subjected to temporarily annexation.
But despite everything, we continue to hold defence and resist.
We are free people!
So it was and so it will be!
