In Novorossiysk, Russian FSB officers detained a foreigner who was accused in an attempt to plant explosives in an administrative building. This was reported by Russian media.
According to the Russian security forces, the detainee had previously allegedly collected information about the locations of the Russian Black Sea Fleet ships and the Russian military in the Krasnodar Territory.
It is reported that the man is a citizen of Belarus, and that, according to the FSB, he was “recruited” by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The Russians claim that the detainee has pleaded guilty and is cooperating with the investigation. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article on terrorism.
