From 3.5 to 7.5 years in prison: Jehovah’s Witnesses in Crimea were asked for long prison terms

The prosecutor of the Yalta City Court requested for Jehovah’s Witnesses terms from 3.5 to 7.5 years in a penal colony. This was reported by the Crimean Human Rights Group.

The prosecutor requested the following terms for the Yalta residents:

– 7.5 years in a general regime colony for Taras Kuzio,

– 7 years to Petro Zhyltsov and Serhii Liulin,

– Daria Kuzio – 3.5 years with a deferment of execution of punishment until her youngest child reaches the age of 14.

We remind you that according to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 12 people in the occupied region are being persecuted in the case of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
