Political prisoners Vilen Temerianov, Enver Krosh, Rinat Aliiev and Edem Bekirov were taken under escort to Rostov-on-Don. It is reported by the Crimean solidarity.
“Our friends tried to transfer them to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center, but they were told that there were no such people and they were sent to the stage. It happened 3 days ago”,- explained Enver Krosh’s wife, Aishe Krosh.
The preliminary investigation of Vilen Temerianov, Enver Krosh, Rinat Aliiev and Edem Bekirov has been completed – the prosecutor’s office has transferred their documents to the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don. Where they are now is unknown.
“Another abduction, as the convention says, from the territory of Crimea of political prisoners of activists accused by Russia of terrorism. This is an act of illegal forced transfer to Rostov-on-Don. This is a link in the whole chain of violation of the rights and freedoms of Crimean Tatar activists persecuted for their political and religious views and beliefs. We will challenge the violent abductions of our compatriots from the territory of Crimea in international instances as a separate block”,- Emil Kurbedinov commented on the stage of his client.
The defense put forward the theory that the secret services deliberately linked the cases of political prisoners to the Russian war against Ukraine.
“It was announced by politicians, in the media and by the special services themselves that the “terrorist cell”, which was led from Ukraine, was allegedly liquidated. This is such a narrative, dictated by this time, connected with the events that take place after February 2022”,- commented lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
Recall that on August 11, 2022, Russian security forces came with searches to the houses of Vilen Temerianov, Enver Krosh, Seitia Abbozov, Murat Mustafayev, Edem Bekirov, Rinat Aliiev in the Dzhankoi district. Everyone was detained.
