For the first quarter of 2023, 61 detentions were recorded in the occupied Crimea, 49 against Crimean Tatars. For the same period in 2022, 59 arrests were recorded, in 2021 – 146. This is stated in the analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented an analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for the first quarter of 2023. According to the organization, during the reporting period, 61 detentions, 83 arrests, 64 cases of interrogations, interviews and conversations were recorded. 94 cases of violation of the right to a fair trial were recorded.
