On 4-6 June, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev took part in the Strategic Session of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine and partners ‘Promoting Freedom through Cooperation’.
The work was carried out according to the following methods: Networking, Open Space, World Cafe. In particular, project ideas and work on joint projects were discussed.
“Within the framework of the work, the participants paid a lot of attention to Crimea and Crimean Tatars. It was pleasant that partners from different parts of Ukraine clearly recognise the thesis: ‘In Crimea it began… In Crimea it will end’, and for this it is really necessary that the Ukrainian society knows more about Crimea and its indigenous peoples,’ – Bariiev noted.
