Abducted two days ago, Eldar Mensitov from the village of Molodizhne in the occupied Crimea was found in a special detention center for administrative detainees in Simferopol. There he will spend 15 days due to disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer.
According to the Crimean Solidarity, the man was found with traces of physical impact.
“On June 9, he was detained by employees of the State Tax Service at the exit from Simferopol. He was driving home. He was asked to get into a service car, then a blue Volkswagen drove up, Eldar was handed over to people in masks. After that, he was taken to the basement, where he was interrogated and was applied illegal interrogation methods. The next day, he was handed over to employees of the Center for Counteracting Extremism, and then taken to the Zaliznodorizhnyy District Court and arrested for 15 days for disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer. During the meeting, I saw traces of physical impact”,- said lawyer Safiie Shabanova.
