Political prisoner Eldar Kantimirov is subjected to humiliation, that is, obscene language and statements expressing hostility on an ethnic basis and degrading the dignity of a person by the workers of the pre-trial detention center. This was reported by his wife, Elvina Useinova, to Crimean Solidarity.
According to Elvina, Valery Nazarkin, the assistant head of prison 1 in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation, is exerting psychological abuse on Kantimirov, which violates Eldar Kantimirov’s right to polite treatment from the guards.
Useinova filed a complaint against the employee.
We remind you that on June 10 and 11, 2019, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention of Crimean Tatars detained after searches – Riza Omerov, Enver Omerov, Aider Dzhepparov, Eskender Suleimanov, Ruslan Nagaev, Eldar Kantimirov, Ruslan Mensutov and Lenur Khalilov. Subsequently, the russians repeatedly extended the period of detention.
