Disabled Crimean political prisoner Syzykov was hospitalized

The defendant in the Bakhchysarai fourth Hizb ut-Tahrir case Oleksandr Syzykov was hospitalized in the neurological department of the Bakhchysarai central regional hospital. This was told by the lawyer of the Crimean Solidarity Shafiia Shabanova.

So, on March 15, a Muslim was unable to speak at the court debate because of his health condition – the political prisoner had a fever, runny nose and cough. They have been rescheduled for March 27th.

“However, within a week he got worse, a severe headache appeared. He was hospitalized in an ambulance”,- the defender said.

According to her, her client’s health problems arose after a severe closed craniocerebral injury, which he received back in 2008. At the same time, Syzykov himself claims that he has a cold nerve on his face, although there is no exact diagnosis yet. On March 24, the examination was carried out.

Shabanova specified that the consideration of the case was postponed to April 18 at 10:00.

We remind you that on July 7, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in the Bakhchysarai, Krasnohvardiiske and Simferopol regions of the occupied Crimea. Seven people have been detained. All were taken to the FSB headquarters in Simferopol. On July 7, the Kyiv district court of Simferopol sent Oleksandr Syzykov, a disabled person of the first group, under house arrest. On July 8, the Kyiv District Court of the occupied Crimea chose a measure of restraint for Ismet Ibrahimov, Zekiria Muratov, Vadym Bektymiyov, Emil Ziiadynov, Alim Sufianov and Seyran Khairetdynov in the form of detention.
