Employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Andriy Perelygin, deputy chief physician of the Simferopol Clinical Hospital. Perelygin was accused of expressing pro-Ukrainian views and telling his colleagues that the Armed Forces would soon liberate Crimea and that supporters of the Russian world would be punished. This was reported by the Russian telegram channel Krymskiy Smersh.
In addition, Perelygin allegedly insulted members of the so-called “SMO”, calling them occupiers. According to the occupiers, his phone had a ringtone with the song “Chervona Kalyna” and nationalist screensavers.
During the trial, a collective letter in support of Perelygin, signed by his colleagues, was demonstrated. Now the occupiers plan to “work” with each of the signatories. The decision of the occupation “court” remains in force. Perelygin was arrested for 15 days and fined 50 thousand rubles.
