Danylovych restricted access to the materials of her own criminal case

The court of Feodosiia restricted Iryna Danylovych’s access to the materials of the court hearings in her criminal case, thereby preventing the preparation of objections to them. This is reported by Krym.Realii.

On April 7, judge Natalya Kulinskaya completed the process of familiarizing herself with the case of Iryna Danylovych and transferred the case to the court of appeal.

Bronislav Danylovych, the journalist’s father, noted that the convict’s health continues to deteriorate: she complains of migraines, problems with hearing and coordination. This happened due to the delay in the medical examination of the journalist by the judge and the administration of the pre-trial detention center.

Recall that on April 29, in the occupied Crimea in the village of Vladislavovka near Feodosiia, Russian security forces searched the house of civilian journalist Iryna Danylovych, after which the woman was detained.

On March 22, Iryna Danylovych went on a dry hunger strike until she was provided with normal medical treatment or until her death. She took this step in protest against the bullying of her by the administration of the pre-trial detention center because of the failure to provide medical assistance.

On April 4, the management of the pre-trial detention center promised to give Iryna the opportunity to undergo an examination, after which the activist ended her hunger strike.
