CTRC will hold a press conference dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people

On Monday, May 15 at 12:30, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will hold a press conference at the Ukrinform news agency as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.

We invite journalists, public figures, as well as everyone who wants to join the event.

Speakers:

Eskender Bariiev – Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department for Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;

Tatiana Podvorniak – Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;

Ihor Lossovsky – Deputy Chairman of SEFC;

Refat Chubarov – Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

During the press conference, the speakers will remind the Ukrainian society about the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people – the deportation of 1944. As well as experts will draw parallels with modern events, when the Russian Federation actually continues the practice of the Soviet Union and commits genocide of the entire Ukrainian people.

As part of the event, the speakers will present visual information products that were prepared by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center for the 79th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign and inform about events dedicated to this date around the world, which will be held by the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and public organizations.
