“After the de-occupation, there will be a difficult period of reintegration. We do not know what kind of Crimea we will get, but we must be prepared for various situations. We initiated the work of the strategic forum “The Future of Crimea”, during which 10 areas were considered, recommendations were prepared for each of them. These recommendations should form the basis for the future reintegration of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Among the people who took part in the forum are people who are directly related to Crimea, 7 doctors of sciences, they have experience working with Crimea. I am sure that our work is important for the countries participating in the Crimean Platform in the context of the future reintegration of the peninsula”,- said Eskender Bariiev, Head of the Board of the CTRC.
The experts of the Strategic Forum “The Future of Crimea” emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities should already think about the reintegration of Crimea, because the deoccupation can come very instantly and unexpectedly, and we need to be ready for this in advance. Therefore, a number of steps, which are indicated in the recommendations of experts, can already be implemented.
Recall that these recommendations were submitted to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and in the near future they will be sent to the President of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and other state authorities of Ukraine responsible for this direction.
