The Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev held a working meeting with the co-coordinator of the International Civil Society Movement for the Deoccupation of Crimea and Solidarity with the Crimean Tatar People #LIBERATECRIMEA, Chairman of the NGO ‘Uralic’ Oliver Loode.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues of further cooperation, in particular, strengthening interaction with representatives of indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation in order to enhance their competences in defence of human rights and protection of collective rights of indigenous peoples.
Eskender Bariiev and Oliver Loode agreed that further active work will be done to find resources for activities aimed at organising and conducting trainings, meetings, discussions, exchange information and materials of the CTRC for indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation.
