Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Eskender Bariiev and Manager of the CTRC Liudmyla Korotkykh met with Binalakshmi Nepram , Founder-Director and Collaboration of the Asian Center of Harvard University, Global Indigenous Alliance and Elsa Stamatopoulou, Director Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University.
The representatives of the CTRC informed the partners about the state of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine in the conditions of war. They talked about the Crimean Platform, invited them to take part in the work of the working group of the expert network on the restoration of the rights of indigenous peoples.
They also discussed the possibility of allocating quotas and scholarships for representatives of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine to study at Harvard, Columbia and other universities, as well as passing special training programs and internships to protect the rights of indigenous peoples.
