A court in Crimea found a resident from the Dzhankoi district guilty of propaganda of Nazi symbols and discrediting the Russian army. This was reported by the human rights initiative Tribunal. Crimean episode.
“The teacher was fired for publications on social networks expressing support for Ukraine and disagreement with the occupation of Crimea. We are talking about Liudmyla Shkodenko from the village of Pobiedne, Dzhankoi district”,- human rights activists said.
Also, the telegram channel of pro-Russian blogger Talipov Crimean SMERSH posted a video in which the former teacher “admitted her guilt and removed all posts that defame her.”
According to the information provided, village residents were outraged by this decision, since the school has an acute staff shortage.
“There are many people who want to brainwash children, but who will give them knowledge if there are not enough teachers, and the latter are also fired?”,– said a resident of the village of Pobiedne.
According to her, in order to avoid public outrage, the occupation administration of the district promised to build a sports club and restore the sports ground near the school.
We remind you that on January 19, 2024, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, its divisions and slogans into the list of Nazi organizations. In addition to adding the slogans Glory to Ukraine and Glory to Heroes, they also added a stylized golden trident, the middle element of which is shaped like a double-edged sword, as well as an OUN flag with red and black horizontal stripes.
For demonstrating the symbols of organizations and using their slogans, administrative liability is provided under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols), that is, a fine of up to 2 thousand rubles or arrest for 15 days. For officials, a fine of up to 4 thousand rubles, for legal entities – up to 50 thousand rubles.
