A lot of work has been done over the years. Faces, leaders and even generations changed. CTYC left a deep imprint on each of the members of the organization, who are still actively involved in the social and political life of the Crimean Tatar people. You can read more about the memories of the members of the CTYC here.
And already the II Qurultai of Crimean Tatar youth decided to celebrate the Day of Crimean Tatar Youth on May 14. The celebration was held annually in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol).
Traditionally, for the Day of Crimean Tatar Youth were awarded young Crimean Tatars, who worthily represented the indigenous people in the following nominations:
“For achievements in journalism”
“For achievements in learning”
“For achievements in culture”
“For achievements in sports”
“For achievements in science”
“For achievements in business”
The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center congratulates on the Day of Crimean Tatar Youth.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center considers these actions of the occupants as a gross violation of the norms of international law, which prohibit the application of occupation legislation in the occupied territories.
We consider these persecutions illegal, politically motivated and criminal. This policy of the occupants is aimed at intimidation in order to force proactive young people to leave the peninsula.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center strongly protests and demands the immediate release of all political prisoners and bringing to justice those involved in the persecution of Ukrainian citizens.
