With the assistance of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, national flags of the Crimean Tatar people were hung in the Government Quarter of Kyiv on the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag.
In addition, the Crimean Tatar flag was raised near the red building of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the building of the Kyiv City Council and the Kyiv City State Administration, the building of the Office of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in the premises of the Vernadskyy Tauric National University.
We remind you that since 2010, the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag has been celebrated annually. Today, in the occupied Crimea, the Crimean Tatar flag is a symbol of the invincibility and struggle of the Crimean Tatars for their freedom and rights. And the day is not far off when the Crimean Tatar flag and the state flag of Ukraine will freely and proudly fly on the Ukrainian peninsula.
