A lawyer Yevgeny Goroshko visited political prisoner Azamat Eiupov in the prison in the city of Verkhneuralsk, Chelyabinsk region of rf. Thi si reported by ‘Crimean solidarity’ public association.
According to the lawyer, two months ago Eiupov wrote an application with a request to provide him with medical assistance and examination, but has not yet received a response.
‘Eiupov’s relatives give medicines to the prison. But he must undergo a serious examination,’ – the lawyer said.
We would like to remind that on 17 February, Russian security forces conducted seven searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in Belogorsk, Bakhchisaray, Simferopol, Sevastopol and the Sovetsky district of the occupied Crimea. The detainees are incriminated with Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Kyiv district ‘court’ and the Leninsky district ‘court’ chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention until 15 April 2021 for the Crimean Tatars detained after the searches – Ernest Ibragimov, Timur Yalkabov, Azamat Eiupov, Oleg Fedorov, Lenur Seidametov and Yashar Shikhametov.
