Crimean political prisoner Yashar Muedinov was transferred to a colony in the Arkhangelsk region

Yashar Muedinov, sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment, was transferred to penal colony No. 5, located in the town of Koryazhma, Arkhangelsk region – more than 2,500 kilometers from Crimea. This was reported to “Crimean Solidarity” by his wife Nailia Ibragimova.

Now 57-year-old Crimean Tatar is in a quarantine cell. According to Ibragimova, he was in transit in Kazan, Perm and Yaroslavl at the time of his expulsion.

“On the way he fell ill, but treatment and medicines were provided,” – said the wife of the political prisoner.

we would like to remind  that Yashar Muedinov was detained on March 27, 2019 in the framework of the fabricated case of the so-called second Simferopol group.

He is a father of many children, who was illegally sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony for participation in the activities of the organization “Hizb ut-Tahrir” banned in Russia (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Human rights activists have repeatedly stated that there is no evidence of his guilt and that the prosecution was politically motivated.
