Crimean occupation authorities increase pressure on Ukrainian citizens

The so-called ‘head of the Crimean interethnic mission’ Zaur Smirnov has proposed to legislate the concept of ‘waiter’.This is reported by RIA Novosti AiF Moscow.

‘Waiters’ in the occupied rf territories it is proposed to recognise those citizens of Ukraine who are waiting for the return of Ukraine.

Collaborator Zaur Smirnov believes that this will allow a more ‘effective fight’ with citizens who do not agree with the occupation. He also said that such people should be deported from the occupied territories.

We would like to remind that occupants actively track pro-Ukrainian citizens on the peninsula. Another Crimean collaborator Alexander Talipov created a TG-channel ‘Crimean SMERSH’, where the occupants’ henchmen collect information about pro-Ukrainian residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Data from this channel is transmitted to the FSB.

In August 2023, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea informed Talipov of suspicion of collaboration activity and complicity with the aggressor state.

We call on the pro-Ukrainian residents of temporarily occupied Crimea to be careful not to become objects of ‘hunting’ for the occupants.
