A Ukrainian court has sentenced a judge in the Russian-controlled Yalta City Court to 12 years in prison for high treason. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“The prosecutors of the autonomy proved that the so-called servant of Themis in 2014 changed her oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine and went to work in the service of the enemy. Under the occupying authorities, she took the position of a judge in the illegally created Yalta City Court of the Republic of Crimea”,- the statement said.
The figurant made illegal decisions designed to suppress the resistance to the occupation of the peninsula by the citizens of Ukraine.
The publication does not mention the name of the judge, but Crimea.Realities informs that we are talking about Galina Pereverzeva. The woman is a native of the Altai Region of Russia, but had Ukrainian citizenship and has been working as a judge of the Yalta City Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea since 2000.
