On Wednesday, January 18, the arrest of activists involved in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case Enver Krosh, Renat Aliiev, Edem Bekirov and Vilen Temeryanov was extended until April 10, 2022. It was reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
Crimean Tatar political prisoners participated in the meeting via videoconference from a pre-trial detention center in Simferopol. The hearing itself started two hours late for technical reasons.
We remind you that in the early morning of August 11, mass searches of Crimean Tatar activists took place in the Dzhankoi region of the occupied Crimea. Six men — Vilen Temeryanov, Enver Krosh, Seityaha Abbozov, Murat Mustafaev, Edem Bekirov and Renat Aliyev — were detained by security forces on charges of participating in Hizb ut-Tahrir.
