The Crimean Tatar Resource Center continues to cooperate with the media as part of the information campaign Return the names – return Crimea, aimed at restoring historical names on the peninsula.
The CTRC has repeatedly noted the importance of restoring historical toponymy in Crimea. Indeed, the policy of large-scale renaming of various geographical names on the peninsula dealt a huge blow to the indigenous peoples of Ukraine and to Ukraine itself.
The occupiers are trying with all their might to erase the connection between the indigenous peoples of Ukraine and the peninsula, rewrite all real history and imprint the statement that Crimea has always been Russian.
Today it is extremely important to work on restoring the historical toponymy of Crimea for our common victory!
