Natalia Desyatova, previously appointed by the occupants as the director of the Kherson museum, fell under US sanctions. This is reported by the US State Department.

The collaborator stole and took away about 10 thousand exhibits from the collection of the Kherson Regional Museum of Local Lore. Alexey Shovkunenko. Some of the exhibits were seen in the Central Museum of Taurida in occupied Simferopol.

The US State Department commented on the decision: it noted that the sanctions were imposed for participation “in activities that undermine the peace and stability of the United States and its allies” and for governing occupied territory on behalf of the Russian Federation.

In particular, 22 Russian citizens and 83 Russian companies, as well as more than 30 companies from third countries that help Russia circumvent sanctions, were subject to restrictions.
