The military appeal court in the city of Vlasikha left the sentence of political prisoner Bogdan Ziza unchanged. His sister Oleksandra Barkova reported this in a comment to the Suspilne publication.
“There is a verdict, no changes. 15 years, that’s how he is punished”,- she said.
According to his sister, Ziza recovered from the hunger strike.
“Okay, but usually depressed”,- she clarified.
We remind you that on June 6, 2023, the Southern District Court of Rostov-on-Don convicted Bohdan Ziza, detained in May 2022 in Yevpatoriia, on fictitious charges of terrorism and public calls for terrorist activities using the media and the Internet. He was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony, the first 4 of which he will spend in prison.
On June 11, 2023, Bohdan Ziza went on a hunger strike.
On June 27, 2023, Bohdan Ziza ended his hunger strike.
