Temporary border control was introduced at the entrance to Belarus from the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Belarusian publication Zerkalo, citing sources and the hotline of the State Border Committee of Belarus.
It is noted that a border checkpoint is being set up on the M1 highway near the border. On the hotline of the State Civil Procedure Committee of Belarus, they said that they were taking certain measures as part of implementation of the ratification agreement on mutual recognition of visas with Russia.
Now control works in six main directions – only for entry.
