The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia transferred political prisoner Azamat Eiupov to the prison in the city of Verkhneuralsk, Chelyabinsk region. His wife Hulnara Eiupova reported this to Crimean Solidarity.
The appeal court did not take into account the fact that Eiupov suffered four ischemic strokes in the pre-trial detention center, after which his right leg still does not function fully.
“On the way, his cellmates helped him with his bags. When Azamat reached his destination, he was quarantined in a special unit. He was there for only one week, they didn’t keep him there any longer because of his health”,- Hulnara Eiupova reported the words of his wife.
Due to the lack of medical care, Azamat Eiupov could not move without assistance.
