Another wave of mobilization is taking place in Russia

March 16, 2023

Residents of more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation are already being sent summonses.

Among all regions, summonses are officially sent out only in three: Voronezh, Lipetsk and Penza. The military registration and enlistment offices explain this as carrying out the digitalization of databases and updating the data of military records.

A complete list of regions where summonses are sent (updated): Altai Territory, Belgorod Region, Voronezh Region, Kaluga Region, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Krasnodar Territory, Lipetsk Region, Murmansk Region, Penza Region, Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvash Republic, Region , Tyumen Region, Ulyanovsk Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Republic of Mari El, Perm Territory, Saratov Region, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Omsk Region, Arkhangelsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Tambov Region, Tver Region, Vladimir Region, Komi Republic, as well as St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow Region

We remind you that a military meeting can only be held after a presidential decree. This type of decree has not been published.

We remind you that the population of Russia and the occupied territories is constantly preparing for the next wave of mobilization. But not everyone wants to be accomplices in an international crime, to be mobilized and participate in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Previously, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center talked about how to avoid forced mobilization in our publications: What to do if you were handed a summons? What to do if you are forcibly mobilized? What will happen if you go to fight against Ukraine?, Why is the summons to the Russian army a death sentence? and How can I travel to third countries from the occupied territories of Ukraine?.
