On Friday, November 17, a working meeting was held with an expert discussion on the topic Future models for the reintegration of children and youth who have been under occupation for a long time.”The event was organized by the NGO Almenda Center for Civic Education.
Members of the Expert Network of the Crimean Platform took part in the discussion: representatives of charitable, human rights, and youth organizations; members of the academic community.
During the event, a discussion took place regarding the existing challenges that exist in working with children and youth in the temporarily occupied territories and possible models of reintegration were presented. The experts also paid attention to the formation of a vision of the Ukrainian model for the future reintegration of children and youth from the TOT.
Based on this, the participants formed a number of recommendations that will be presented to the state authorities of Ukraine.
An expert from the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Aider Seitosmanov, also took part in the working meeting and proposed to take into account the recommendations developed in the field of education by experts of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center during the I and II forums The Future of Crimea.
