An administrative protocol was drawn up against the wife of political prisoner Eldar Yakubov, Aishe Yakubova, for a photograph of her husband that she took in court. Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov told Crimean Solidarity about this.

On January 17, Aishe’s complaint was considered, in which she stated that FSB investigator Vitalii Vlasov was denying her short-term visits with her husband.

“I have six children. There are problems on which you need to consult with your husband. His mother recently died. There were questions about the funeral, prayers that needed to be held”,- said Aishe Yakubova.

The judge refused to allow her visits or calls. After she left, Ayşe tried to take a photo of her husband, but the bailiff ordered her to delete the photo. She did not know about the ban and deleted the image in his presence, but he still called other bailiffs, who drew up a report on her under Part 2 p. 17.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure to comply with the requirements of a bailiff).

The wife of a Crimean Tatar faces a fine of up to 3 thousand rubles.

Let us recall that on August 24 at four in the morning, Russian security forces broke into the houses of six Crimean Tatars – Seidamet Mustafaiev, Eldar Yakubov, Abdulmedzhyt Seitumerov, Ruslan Asanov, Ametkhan Umerov and Remzi Nimetulaiev, after which they were arrested.
