At night, September 2, the building of the Islamic cultural centre AMU/ SAMARC was damaged as a result of a rf missile attack on Kyiv . This was reported by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea on its Facebook page.
‘As a result of another terrorist act of Russia this morning, received significant damage to the building of the Islamic cultural centre AMU/ SAMARC in Kyiv (mosque on Nivki),’ – stated in the message.
Vadim Dashevsky, second deputy of the Supreme Mufti of Crimea Aider Rustemov, said in a comment to Suspilne Crimea about the damage to the centre’s building.
‘It happened approximately in the time interval from 05:00-5:30 in the morning. When the believers came for morning prayers, they saw this destruction. The building underwent significant destruction both outside and inside,’ he said.
Dashevsky noted that the blast blew out windows and doors, and the ceiling fell in one hall. There were no injured as a result of the attack.
