In Crimea, the FSB detained the leader of the Jehovah’s Witnesses cell of Akyar (Sevastopol). This was reported by the occupation Sledkom in Crimea and Sevastopol.
As the investigation notes, since 2019, the arrested person has been organizing meetings, speeches and “propaganda of extremist ideas via the Internet.
According to preliminary information, 31-year-old Maksym Zinchenko was detained. The man was arrested following searches of the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ gathering place and his place of residence in Feodosiia. The so-called forbidden literature and materials allegedly confirming criminal activity were confiscated from him.
