We continue to cooperate with our Freedom Camp participants, who have become full-fledged activists of the International Movement #LIBERATECRIMEA.
Thus, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, together with the Ostroh branch of the UBA Students’ League is launching an all-Ukrainian campaign “Write a Letter to a Political Prisoner”, which will run from October 1 to November 1.
Letters to political prisoners are not only an expression of support and solidarity, but also an opportunity to remind them that their struggle is not forgotten. It is a way to give them moral strength and help them keep their spirits up in the difficult conditions of isolation and constant pressure. Moreover, letters are an important tool to put pressure on the Russian authorities: the more letters a political prisoner receives, the less they are to be subjected to ill-treatment.
We urge everyone to join the “Write a letter to a political prisoner” campaign. Your words of support can become a source of inspiration and hope for those who are behind bars because of their beliefs and struggle for rights and freedoms.
Each letter is another step towards their release!
Important: the letter must be in Russian, as otherwise it will not be allowed to reach the political prisoners.
You can leave your letter in the Google form here.
Together we can do more!
