In Crimea, since the beginning of the year, 116 dolphins have been found on the seashore

June 5, 2023

Close to the shores of the Crimean peninsula live bottlenose dolphins, white-breasted porpoises, and gannets, which are becoming fewer and fewer every year. Dolphins die from various diseases, injuries, suffocate in fishing nets.

In May, only 24 releases of cetaceans were recorded, which is 10 times less than in May 2022, when 266 dolphins were found on the shore.

Dolphins are most affected by radio-electronic means that Russia uses in the sea for reconnaissance and jamming of sea drones.
