Sustainable development of the Crimea Platform requires systematic communication between governments, MPs and experts. An important role belongs to the Crimea Platform Expert Network, which should constantly prepare analytical materials and provide them to the Crimea Platform member states.
For the effective and transparent work of the Crimea Platform Expert Network, it is necessary to institutionalise the Crimea Platform to facilitate the involvement of more international experts and the creation of high-quality analytical materials.
Therefore, at the III Strategic Forum ‘The Future of Crimea’, held by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine, the experts developed and adopted the regulations and policies:
- Regulations of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network
- Expert engagement policy
- Non-discrimination and equality policy
- Expert paper reviewing policy
- Policy on evaluating the effectiveness of expert work
- Policy on the formation and planning of the cost of expert papers
The III Strategic Forum ‘The Future of Crimea’ was attended by 20 experts, including representatives of the Ukrainian academic environment, experts of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network, public figures, scholars in the field of law, geography, economics, political science, sociology, history and pedagogy.
