In the areas of the Yalta Bay and the Kerch Strait of the occupied Crimea, sea pollution was recorded. On the coast of the peninsula, the excess of MPC for oil products and organochlorine pesticides was found. This is reported by the so-called “Hydrometeorological Center” of the annexed peninsula.
"In the Yalta Bay area, there was 1 case of exceeding the MPC (maximum permissible concentration) for organochlorine pesticides. In the Kerch Strait area, there were 5 cases of exceeding the MPC for petroleum products (max. 2.20 MPC)," the message says.
