This project aims to attract the international community to protection of human rights in Crimea via:
– providing patronage of well established politicians over political prisoners who were illegally transferred to the Russian Federation;
– advocacy of the “Magnitsky Global Act on Accountability in the Sphere of Human Rights” analogous laws in the national parliaments of European countries and the imposition of personal sanctions against individuals involved in the human rights violations in the occupied Crimea;
– facilitating visits to Ukraine by UN Special Rapporteurs and including information on human rights violations in their annual reports.
As part of the project, a number of round tables were organized in the political capitals of the world, side events, and participation in the international events was also organized.
