A journalist from the Russian TV channel Millet was informed of suspicion due to her public support of the Russian army. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the presenter publicly supports the illegal actions of the Russian army. In particular, she calls Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine noble and defensive.
“The presenter systematically promotes Russian propaganda narratives and contributes to the creation of a positive effect from an invasion of the territory of a sovereign and independent state, thus justifying the enemy’s armed aggression”,- the report says.
The person involved in the case is Aishe Shulakova. She faces up to 12 years in prison.
