It was found that during the period of mobilization, the junior sergeant, being a contract soldier in the Black Sea Fleet, did not appear at the place of military service in October 2022 and for several months lived in another city with a friend, helping her with housework and childcare.
“On February 3, 2023, the junior sergeant arrived at the military investigation department and wrote a confession. He admitted his guilt in full”,- the press service of the court reported.
By the decision of the military garrison court, the deserter was found guilty of committing the above actions, he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 5 years and 4 months to be served in a penal colony of general regime.
