A 58-year-old woman was detained in Aqmescit (Simferopol) for putting pro-Ukrainian slogans on a fence. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The pensioner said that over the past few months, in the evening and at night, she had been putting inscriptions on commercial and other urban infrastructure facilities in the Gagarin district as a sign of her disagreement with the conduct of a special military operation by Russia, as well as for other political reasons”,- the statement said.
The occupants also claim that the woman sent photographs of the inscriptions to her daughter, who then distributed them in pro-Ukrainian telegram channels.
The investigation continues and the issue of bringing the woman to justice under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (vandalism).
