In the occupied Belogirsk in Crimea, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of a secondary school No. 2 to brothers Peter Petrovich and Nikolai Petrovich Lobanov, who were conscripts in the Russian army but died in the so-called ‘SMO’.
The Crimean branch of the international movement for the de-occupation of Crimea #LIBERATECRIMEA told ‘Krym.Realia’ that the funeral of the Lobanov brothers in Belogirsk took place only a few months after their deaths.
‘The other day in Belogirsk ‘solemnly’ opened memorial plaques to the dead brothers. In 2022, the Kremlin recognised that conscripts were involved in the so-called ‘SMO’ and promised that this would not happen from now on. But now we see that during the summer counter-offensive of the AFU in 2023, when the Russians had a sprinkling of frontline soldiers, conscripts were again ‘sent on missions’ to the front line. The funeral of the guys took place only a few months after their deaths, and did not go without a scandal. The head of the enterprise, on whose balance sheet was the cemetery in Belogirsk , allocated plots for the burial of siblings in different parts of the cemetery, the mother had to beat the doorsteps of the authorities to get her sons buried next to each other,’ said the activist of #LIBERATECRIMEA movement.
Apparently, Russians, as well as residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine, will not escape mobilisation.
We shall remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre earlier launched the campaign ‘Mogilisation’, in the framework of which Crimean residents are informed how to avoid mobilisation, what should be done if you receive a summons, how to sabotage mobilisation, how to go to third countries from Crimea and so on.
